Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals, include a comprehensive set of seventeen interconnected objectives. These goals are intended to function as a universally agreed-upon framework, guiding efforts towards the attainment of peace and prosperity for both humanity and the environment, both now and in the long term. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) encompass a range of objectives, including the eradication of poverty, the elimination of hunger, the promotion of good health and well-being, the provision of quality education, the advancement of gender equality, the provision of clean water and sanitation, the promotion of affordable and clean energy, the promotion of decent work and economic growth, the development of industry, innovation, and infrastructure, the reduction of inequalities, the establishment of sustainable cities and communities, the promotion of responsible consumption and production, the mitigation of climate change, the preservation of life below water, the preservation of life on land, the promotion of peace, justice, and strong institutions, and the fostering of partnerships to achieve these goals. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) prioritize the interrelated environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainable development by placing sustainability as its focal point.
